Opened by French chef Stephen Pantel, Ryoriya Stephen Pantel reaches new heights in culinary creativeness, combining French cooking with Kyoto’s gorgeous natural ingredients, which are ever-changing with the seasons. His signature dish, frois gras wrapped in daikon radish that has been pickled in sake lees is served on a custom designed plate, will melt in your mouth and make the next sip of wine taste even better  . His place is located in a  historical machiya, a kind of wooden town house common in Kyoto. He serves innovative dishes that are the perfect marriage of East and West.
